The Blogging Beauties Network and Broadcasting Beauty PR teamed up to bring a multi-city tour focusing on empowering women in journalism careers, media, and press. The tour began in Charlotte for the NCAA Tournament then following in Detroit and Chicago. During their stop in Atlanta, the event was held on Saturday, October 6th at Kisswork Studios. Attendees enjoyed an afternoon of networking with others, shopping with local vendors, and a discussion with a panel with some of the most influential women in media.

The purpose of The Media Girls on Tour Atlanta (#MGOTATL) is to bring influencers, bloggers, creatives and professionals together and celebrate women in media. Following the panel discussion, MGOT recognized Princess Banton-Lofters and Quad Webb-Lunceford with Outstanding Women in Media award. The Media Girls on Tour will head next to Dallas, Texas continuing the celebration of women in the career fields of communications, media, press and journalism.
